The whole building is a piece of trash. Firstly, the manager is a sociopath engineered to lie professionally. -The CCTV is never checked if you have a problem that requires it. However, it is used to threaten you with a bill every time a plastic bag is left on a surface. -The management throws your, toiletries, and kitchen utensils very regularly even when cleaned and put aside to dry. -Every email is a passive aggressive threat. Your ability to make a a formal complaints or enquiries is really limited as contact information has not been given out officially, and any correspondence from the management get slid under your door. The manager is rude, once banging on every door in the premises in the morning to purposely wake up the residents because some rubbish was left out the day before in the communal areas by students on their Christmas dinner. One of a few events that cause some mess throughout the year. Students are always falsely accused of damages made, and threatened in various ways by management. -Every promise made to improve the place is stretched out for so long, or never happens. -Laundry costs about five pounds for a full wash. And the machines leave your clothes wet, smelling bad, and stained. Washing liquids and products have to be thrown in the washing machine as it lacks a draw. -The advertised "gym" is a small room with a very cheap bench, some weights, half of which have been bought by students, and a few very cheap machines that are malfunctioning or not functioning. This "gym" might also cost £10 a month in the future. When it probably has 1/100th the budget of a real gym which costs only slight more for a monthly membership. -Thugs have been able to get around the building and smash eggs all over a kitchen. -The area is horrible, and to get to the accomodation you have to go through a very dark, shallow, and long alley way. -The rooms are tiny and dirty. The bed and and mattress are sometimes different sizes, dirty, and extremely uncomfortable. -Freezers and fridges are of very bad quality that ice starts stacking up inside forcing residents to melt the ice periodically in order to have space again. -Cleaning, grass cutting, and other chores are conducted early in the morning. The rooms have horrible noise cancellation. You hardly get any privacy, and any unpleasant noise passes through easily. -Windows look 500 years old, the frame is crumbling and the single glass is barely sticking on with fungus all around the frame. -The wifi connection is horrible in many rooms and you only get to connect one Ethernet cable. As any more cables will ruin the connection for others in the hall. -You can only get your mail at 2 hours throughout the day. If you are busy during those hours. You will have to wait till later on in the night for the security to arrive. -Often security and management are not present when they are supposed to be. Meaning you cannot collect your mail, or make any enquiries. -The light piece fell straight 10 cm away from my face when I was sleeping because it was badly glued on. -The blinds will end up malfunctioning. -If you live on the second or third floor, you can enjoy a very slow shower where you have to stick to the wall for the water to reach your body under such low pressure. -You will barely have any space in the fridges, or freezers. -There are curfews. You are not allowed to socialise, or be in common areas after 10 PM. -The drink, and snacks dispenser are placed in the communal area. The drinks dispenser is extremely loud. Like an engine constantly working. Does are some of the things that I could think of from the top of my mind. There is a lot of other issues but if this is not enough to put you off, then you must be crazy enough to ignore the rest to. Do not invest, or rent in any of their residences. If you want to be happy. Sincerely, A current tenant.
