Arrival & Car Parking
Cavendish Guesthouse is a single front terraced building. The front of the hotel is reached from Pleasant Street. Guests arriving by car or taxi can be dropped off directly at the front entrance of the guesthouse. Unrestricted parking is available on Pleasant Street and surrounding areas..

Main Entrance, Reception
There are 3 steps to the front door then one other door that leads you into the hotel. Once inside Cavendish the reception area is located on the ground floor and is accessible on the flat once through the front door there is another door before entering our main hallway. The reception area is on the left side of the stairs.
Help with luggage is available.

Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors
We do not have a lift or stair chair. Wood stair railing to both floors. All landing areas are well lit and are equipped with emergency lighting, detectors and fire alarms.

Including stairways are carpeted throughout the hotel.

Dining Room
The door to the open plan dining room, bar and lounge is on the left before the reception and are all on the ground floor. The furniture is a mix of fixed bench seating, freestanding tables and non/armed chairs and stools. The television is remote controlled and has teletext.

Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas
There are no ground floor bedrooms. No toilets on the ground floor. Stairs to all upper floors and rooms. We have 10 guest bedrooms located on the first and second floors and are all non smoking. rooms

Bathroom, Shower-room & WC [Ensuite or Shared]
First floor has a separate shower with non slip laminate flooring a separate toilet with fitted carpet Second floor has a shared shower and toilet which has fitted carpet. All bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities, freeview television with remote control. The en-suite rooms have electric showers, toilet, wash basin and non slip laminate flooring. Standard rooms have a wash basin. Non slip mats are available for shower.
