Over the last few years, there has been a dramatic change in attitudes and regulations surrounding the disposal of waste into landfill sites. This has forced many local waste firms to transport waste to sites in neighbouring counties – an unpopular move from all angles, with significant environmental and cost implications. In 2002, we started planning for a waste disposal future that maximised recycling and made no reliance on landfill. Recycling is, and will continue to be, an essential part of our waste disposal strategy. So, if you choose Rabbit to manage your waste, you can be certain that almost all of it, currently 97%, is recycled, either as materials or biofuel, and does not end up in a landfill.
