Tim and Jen Wedding Crathorne Hall Hotel Yarm, June 2010. Tim and Jen contacted Rapture after seeing them at an event in Hull, East Yorkshire. They both decided that the performance and selection of songs was exactly what they were looking for. The only addition they required was their first dance and after some deliberation they chose chasing cars, which Rapture performed on the night and chose to use as the track for their 2013/2014 wedding promotional video. Rapture is one of the liveliest function bands for hire in Yorkshire. This 6-piece group is fronted by fabulous female lead vocals with the additional advantage of great male lead and backing singers. The band's musicianship is of the highest standard with keyboards, 2 guitars, bass and drums. Built in 1906, overlooking the Leven Valley on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors, Crathorne Hall Hotel in North Yorkshire is at once grand and stately, warm and welcoming. Owned by the Dugdale family until 1977,Crathorne Hall Hotel has played host to politicians, courted royalty and delighted socialites over the decades. One of the best loved hotels in North Yorkshire, Crathorne Hall is set in 15 acres of private grounds and has been awarded the prestigious accolade of 4 Red Stars, being among the top 200 hotels in the UK and Ireland. Rapture performed 2 sets 1 x 45 minute set which included the first dance chasing cars and 1 x 1 hour , the dance floor was filled throughout. Tim and Jen made contact after their honeymoon to express their delight at what they described as “an unforgettably fantastic evening with amazing music that so many guests paid compliment to”.
