At Raunka Punjab Diyan we captivate the eyes of visitor at very first glance. We created the desired authentic look, every aspect of the restaurant décor contributes to the look of rural punjabi village starting from the furniture to the cutlery & table wares to the staff that welcomes you in ethnic Punjabi dresses. The whole atmosphere has been given a traditional look with modern touch here in heart of london... (SOUTHALL)

This wonderful atmosphere offers its customers a space for Private Parties also.

The surrounding is ambiance to appease your aesthetic sense and no huge glass swivel doors to lead you inside. No spacious-lounge- feel for you to laze around and no panoramic view outside either. And no attentive maitre d' to greet you. What greets you here, instead, are a waiter in a vest and blue boxers shorts,( kaccha) who comes and slaps water on to the table. You already know the menu of the day (think heavily stuffed paratha's a glassful of frothy lassi, dollops of butter and lush green chillies, pakodas or kukkad ), but ask anyway - for the sheer pleasure of listening to it.

Essence of hospitality

For people who appreciate the art of good taste and the essence of hospitality, Raunka punjab diyan will always remain in their hearts. For those who are set to experience the true definition of the punjabi taste, find pleasure with sheer indian authenticated rural things, Things of the past,Have your Sweet childhood Memories flash infront of your eyes...or maybe your dad/grand dad grew up here... come in & feel a step closer to your Roots...We are ranked no#1 for reason..

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

Service

We have been to many Indian restaurants in west London but this is in a different league from others. Parking was easy and free right outside the restaurant and its not fine dining so you can bring your hard drinks from outside and they don’t charge for that. They make everything fresh So allow little bit extra time but is worth the wait, food was fresh, delicious and presented well, Flavours were unbelievable. While we were made comfortable Everything was sensational right from the lamps, decor, background Art work, the surprise dance and free WiFi The evening started with some beer s which we took with us The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, It seemed like each new dish that was brought to the table was better than the previous! starters were great and main dinner with the seafood King prawn masala, butter chicken and Achari Augergine, garlic naans with the best Lamb chops masala we have ever had ,simply Divine! It was an incredible experience and we found the same level of enthusiasm in the manager till the end Lastly we were told they don’t take more the 5 boys on any one table unless they know you or you must Bring some family with you which is unusual but therefore there was completely family atmosphere.

The restaurant is rated the best in the area and we can believe it. I have eaten in here many times now The starter are mouth watering, lamb chops are just to die for, we ordered 6 different starters & to my amazement each stater was better than the 1st,all had a different flavor & taste. then the mains was also v.good,my fav was b.chic & saag,it is BYOB(drinks)so it was not expensive either,I would recommend making a reservation here as it really does fill up quickly the night was a hit , thank u team R.P.D.. WILL BE BACK

The decor and surroundings were tasteful and the place had a good feel to it. Staff were attentive and efficient. We took help from the staff on the starter menu and we all agreed it was absolutely excellent, especially the lamb chops & then the butter chicken which was one of the main courses. we were celebrating a special occasion and were happy we chose this place. After our meal the manager came to talk to us and spent time chatting about what we thought and our overall experience which we thought was good as it gave us the opportunity to give honest feedback direct to the right person. I would recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.
