We’d been thinking about getting a dog for quite a while and then ended up getting Cookie slightly spur of the moment when she was 8 weeks old. It was love at first sight although we didn’t know what had hit us at first! We definitely needed some help and were lucky enough to meet Rachel. In a series of one-on-one sessions Rachel taught us how to train Cookie and give her what she needed to make her the happy, well balanced and totally brilliant dog we have now. Rachel’s methods are kind, sensible, easy to understand and apply and they really work. Rachel had a wealth of advice and suggestions for everything we were wondering about: toilet training, routines and using a crate; how to make sure Cookie was happy when left alone, tips on playing and keeping her stimulated – and of course to make sure Cookie comes when she’s called! Cookie is a fantastic dog – sociable, happy, good fun, friendly and well behaved (for a terrier!) and the support and help Rachel gave us was invaluable.
