Recycle & Sew - Review

I had to use the services of 'Recycle and Sew' a couple of months ago and I was really disappointed by the level of customer services the main owner has. She was really impolite and offensive to me regarding the cost and more or less blamed everything on me. I was quoted a lower cost before and once the product was finished, the price doubled and I had to end up paying more than what I was told before. The owners do not communicate well with one another and try to blame you for not being more clear, even though you will have seen them several times and made clear what fabric and colour you need. They will write the notes regarding what you need in front of you, but when you see them the next time, the notes are not there and when you remind them (I reminded them twice) they say that you haven't told them because otherwise they would've definitely had the notes as they ALWAYS make note of everything i.e. the blame is on the customer again. They seemed very nice when you see them before the product is made and afterwards, they just want the money and do not worry about keeping you happy so that you will keep coming back. I was really upset by how I was treated by the main owner. I'm not one of those customers who is not happy with any product and blame it on the owners for getting it wrong - and I wasn't unhappy; it just was something else to what I told them several times that I needed. They did get it wrong this time and I have been using private tailors for the past 10 years and was really disappointed by the level of customer services they had. In the end, I was so upset and kept being reminded of the conversation, that I ended up throwing away my custom-made product because it reminded me of how I was treated unfairly. I was ripped off and everything was blamed on me. An apology was not offered at all or whether anything else could be done for goodwill purposes. Even Primark's customer services is so much better and I would recommend people to go there instead of using the services of 'Recycle and Sew'. If you wish to get what you need for a reasonable price with no unnecessary problems that will be in the end blamed on you, please do NOT contact them. You are far better off looking for another tailor. I have never written a review for any business, however, I felt the need to pass my experience on to others so that you won't have to go through what I had to go through. Kind regards, E.
