Within the walls of the Red you won't find a T.V, jukebox or bandit, just the crackle of an open fire and the pulse of conversation and laughter. We're in the Good Beer Guide 2012, 'runner up' Darlington CAMRA Country Pub of the Year 2007 & 2008 and Teesdale Pub of the Season 2009. There's Jennings Cumberland and a local or national guest ale always on tap. There's a beautiful beer garden to the rear of the pub plus a pool room and dart board in the main bar. Children, boots and dogs welcome!
