Best equipped in the area, members club. One of the most practical and complete martial arts.
Our Martial Arts club Specialises in both traditional and
modern Ju-Jitsu and the teaching of self defence.
Ju-Jitsu is one of the oldest forms of unarmed combat
and the first Martial Art to be introduced to the UK, in 1899,
before many modern systems even started.
The Founder & Chief Instructor of the Red Rose Ju-Jitsu is
Prof. Andy Manwaring 7th Dan, a personal student of
the late Prof. Bill Rankin 10th Dan Ju-Jitsu/Budo.

Excellent friendly club run by volunteers with a passion and obvious commitment to Martial Arts and in particular traditional Ju Jitsu as taught to the Samurai for unarmed combat. The instructors are very knowledgeable with time served provenance, which is refreshing in this age where money will buy you a Dan grading at other "venues". This does not happen at this club, you earn your grades and you only grade when and if you are ready. Ive had the pleasure and honour of training for a decade at Red Rose Ju Jitsu and made many true friends - I would recommend trying other venues before coming to us and you will see the quality of training surpass's many others in the area.

I trained here some years ago now and I must say they are brillant at what they do, the instructors really know there stuff but most of all know how to teach. The club is very friendly and if you fancy trying ju jistu up in lancaster this is the place to go. I have since left lancaster and tried other ju jitsu clubs - but none have compaired.
