Vouchers have circulated through our office for a couple of months now and I finally took up an offer last week with a couple of friends. The food really is good, not like the average curry-houses I usually go to. The staff made us feel really welcome and the serivce was well-paced. I was a bit diappointed to find out we needed 2 vouchers to get 2 of our 4 dishes free - but as always - it was in the small print!

This is probably the worst eating out experience of my life!! I went to Regards with a large party on a Saturday evening and it took over an hour for the starters to arrive and 1+half hours for the main course to arrive. Food was luke warm, tasteless,in tiny proportions and served in bizzare plastic bowls. We were squashed into a corner of the room and had to keep asking the staff where our food was who were totally uninterested. Don't ever visit this place if you are a group of people - got charged £15/head and had to visit McDonalds on the way home - ABSOLUTELY APPALLING EVENING, THE STAFF AND OWENERS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR THE WAY WE WERE TREATED!!!!

Regards serves really great Indian cuisine in a stylish venue. The leather seating and artwork make it a cut above other Birmingham curry-houses.

I'm not sure how long Regards has been open for but I have already wasted too much money and time in other Asian restaurants. The whole experience was lovely, I felt welcome and the staff were very keen to ensure we were having a good time and enjoying the food - which was amazing. I went for tikka masalla but tasted my partner's dish - I think it was kori gassi (?) and it was incredible - I have never heard of it before but will definitely be ordering it when I go again!!

A small group of us went a couple of Fridays ago without booking. We were asked to wait at the bar while they set up a table. We waited for about 20 minutes which did not seem too long as the barman was very efficient and very friendly. And considering we didn't book and it was a Friday in December 20 minutes was really not that long to wait. Once we were seated, the menus were brought to us promptly and we were asked if we wanted water for the table. Our waiter was very tentative all evening and made us feel very welcome. The food was fantastic, maybe it was because we were having such a good time but it tasted fresher than other Indian restaurants I have been to. The evening on a whole was fantastic and I definitely recommend it to everyone in Birmingham.
