Renewable Resources is fully accredited through the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). We offer a two years parts and labour warranty on top of product manufacturers’ guarantees. Our installation teams are fully qualified with training in all relevant technologies.

We employ our own commercial technical advisors, unlike many other companies with self-employed, direct salespeople. This ensures our people are constantly monitored and trained and that they give honest advice, not a hard sell.

A recent audit by the MCS gave a glowing report in how we conduct our business and the level of service we offer. We have testimonials from a wide variety of clients ranging from a big four supermarket chain, fire authority, schools and colleges.

Solar PV installations offer a superb rate of return on investment. Most importantly in times of economic instability these are secure government backed guaranteed investments. The rate the Feed-in Tariff pays for generation and export of electricity is guaranteed for 25 years. All systems installed before 31st March 2012 will be guaranteed the current rates for the full 25 year life span of the Feed-in tariff.

Rates will probably decrease in 2012 as they were set at an attractive level to encourage investors at launch. So there has never been a better time to invest.

Current rates of return on investment mean that even with a bank loan at 7% interest for the installation there is still a healthy return from the Feed-in Tariff. It is set so monthly earnings from the electricity are far greater than the loan interest. So the potential return on investment for companies who pay the cost of the installation themselves is massive.

The following outlines the Renewable Resources systems design process for commercial installations.

Firstly we work with you, the client to fully understand your needs.

We analyse the building, or the proposed site if it is not yet built, and pay attention to structures and trees that may cast shade. We ensure the roof space is large enough, consider the existing roof condition and evaluate areas of potential shading.

Our site survey determines how much roof space is available and how many panels can be fitted. We also assess the roof type, construction, colour, slope, direction it faces and any obstructions.

Working with our partners, we can ensure that any roofing issues can be remedied according to the the particular manufacturers standards.

At this stage, we would a recommend the size and manufacturer of panel most suited to your project. In addition the inverter is correctly sized and selected.

Next we use our year on year calculator to advise you how much CO² and money you will save per year, and provide the total installation cost, together with our final report.
