Testimonials

We loved it and practically went native. Exploring every day. Pompei on Monday, over the mountains to Campobasso yesterday and Napoli today. We need a day at home to recover now, so a restful time tomorrow after the market at Amorosi. Napoli was quite an experience, a fascinating city as long as you have your wits about you. We love the house and everything about it and where it is and it feels like Louisa the owner has done us a personal favour by letting us stay here. And the thing we had never guessed was how kind everyone is. We can't speak the language but we try and everyone has been lovely. Especially at the restaurant next door where we have already eaten twice and plan to again on Friday. We are already sad to be going home.

What a great villa! We loved staying at Casa Sofia. Its near Naples, Sorrento and Amalfi Coast but far enough away to enjoy parts of Italy we have never seen before. It is very well equipped with all you could ask for and it is set up for the English market. the little touches such as adapter plugs, hair dryer and english DVDs, CDs and Books were welcomed. Louisa the owner has really thoughts about the guests and provided what we needed. The large area outside the villa was a godsend and the trees just lovely and cooling. the lady who met us was lovely and spoke excellent English. We loved the local restaurants and enjoyed exploring The Cave restaurant which is unique and great prices. We couldnt believe how good and how cheap the wine was. We would recommend staying at Casa Sofia. The experience from booking to staying at the villa was a pleasure. From Louisa to the locals they were all so helpful and made us really feel at home. As villas in Italy go this was one of the best we have stayed in.
