Overenthusiastic DJ
I like it here, although it's definitely not the place for a quiet chat. Even when the DJ's not in, it can be difficult to hear the person next to you or even to order at the bar. When the DJ is in the music is just a bit too intrusive, especially when there's only a few punters in the place. Could be cleaner as well, which isn't a big problem unless it's a suspicious looking sticky patch on the only seat left round the table.Love the vodka and they do some great cocktails. Although it seems to be a ‘privilege card' deal on the website, whenever I order a single cocktail I get offered a second for less than £1 extra (impossible to resist).If you go in the evening after the parking restrictions finish there's loads of parking round Hockley, if you can get someone to be designated driver.
