Interior Photography - Restaurant/Cafe

Richard recently photographed a new cafe we opened in Leeds and i cant recommend him enough! He was very professional and easy to communicate with via email. On the day of the shoot he spent alot of time ensuring everything was set up perfectly to get the best shot. He did lots of creative detail shots as well as overall shots of the space. Boudoir Shoot

Absolutely 1st Class photographer. Had a Boudoir shoot for my wife at the end of June as a present for her marvelous achievement at weight watchers and to celebrate her new image and confidence. Richards studio is A1 and the warm welcome received, discussions on costumes, content, props etc and professionalism throughout the shoot was second to none. The direction given to Lynne regarding posing and the attention to detail and lighting was excellent and has resulted in a portfolio we can be proud of. Would definitely recommend Richard to anyone considering a Boudoir modelling shoot and we are both delighted with the pictures and canvas provided.

Friendly and professional service. High quality photographs.

Amazing value

Richard was amazing when he did the photo shoot for my daughters hen party. He arrived promptly at the house at the specified tiime and instantly set to work to make everyone feel nice and relaxed. WE all had so much fun from beginning to end. He was nice and efficient in setting up his different shots, it never felt like anyone was spending a lot of time just waiting around to have thier photo taken. The value for money was fantastic, for his time with us taking the photos to the time it took to recieve the files. We recieved nearly 300 photos which all look amazing. I would highly recomend Richard and his services, especially if you have anyone who is a little photo shy as one of our party was.

Corporate office opening

Great Service

We hired Richard to take photographs of our hotel. On the day of the shoot Richard was very efficient and professional but also easy-going and adaptable to the busy goings-on in a hotel. The turnaround time for the images was great - much quicker than I expected! Richard was also extremely helpful post-production, editing the images quickly and courteously to ensure they were picture perfect for our brand! Would definitely recommend!

Don't even think about it, book a session

My partner and I hate being photographed but we finally caved to family pressure to get a portrait photo done. 1st Birthday Party

I can't sing Richard's praises enough!! From the very first time I spoke to him he was so friendly and accommodating to our requirements too. On the day Richard took the most stunning natural photographs that have just made our memories of the day so incredibly special for which I can't thank him enough. Richard is a fantastic photographer and a people person

When we look for a photographer to create portfolios for our artists, we look for someone who has great equipment, is reliable, can take great photos, has access to a studio but who can also go outside and who is personable enough to be able to get the most out of the artist, who may not be used to having their photo taken. Richard does all those things and we would highly recommend him.

Highly recommended!

My best friend organised a photo shoot for my 40th birthday. My husband and I were both rather apprehensive about posing for photos, but we didn't need to worry. Richard made us both feel at ease and was especially great with our 2 year old daughter. He pretended her doll was taking the photos which really made her smile. Best Surprise Ever

My two children organised the photo shoot with Richard as a surprise for my 50th Birthday. Richard was great at putting them at ease, chatting to them, making them laugh and generally creating a very relaxed atmosphere which shows in the photos. Excellent- Family fun

I wamted to surprise my 80 yr old mother for her birthday .... a family photoshoot, with her grandchildren. How Fabulous.....

I wanted a professional photographer to take photos of my 50th birthday party at a hotel in Leeds. Richard's was the second website I looked at and I was immediately smitten with how beautiful his pictures were, so I booked him. He worked with me to get a better package than what I asked for. Fantastic - Cosmetic Surgery by Camera!

My '50 something' partner has never liked having his picture taken, but his usual Scottish blue skin had taken on semi-human pallor following a recent holiday, so we decided it was time to have a professional photograph taken as a couple. Richard was very patient and brilliant at putting us at ease. He even managed to get some laughter and genuine smiles out of my other half (which very few have achieved!) The selection of photographs which appeared online was enormous - it took us ages to choose which we preferred, and everyone has commented on how amazing they are and how "stunning" we look. The portraits have knocked a good ten years off the pair of us! Looking at the pictures of my partner, I could fancy him all over again ... almost! ;-))

Highly Recommended!

We took our two children (4 years and 2 years old) for a photo shoot at Richard's studio. Richard made us all feel very welcome and put us at ease. He was great with our kids and wasn't put off by them being extremely hyperactive!!! All the photos were fantastic, and we really struggled with choosing which ones to have as they were all of such a high quality. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic photo shoot!

I took my 4 year old daughter to see Richard for some studio photographs, Richard was great with her and she loved every minute of it! Brilliant photographer

Richard was our wedding photographer and we have had two sittings with him for family portraits (so far). He is a great photographer and a lovely guy. He works really hard and took some great shots at our wedding both natural and posed. The only trouble was we had too many to choose from to fit in the album! We sorted that by buying the copyright to all the images and have a fabulous record of our day as a result. We also received the final shots and album quickly. For family photos he has a relaxed manner which is very helpful with small children. I would recommend him to anyone and frequently do!.

Perfect hen party

For my hen party in April, my friends arranged a photo shoot at Richard's studio. I was nervous at first of being in front of the camera, but once I was glammed up and had had a glass of champagne I found my confidence! Brilliant photoshoot!

We had a family photo shoot with Richard for a birthday present and it was definitely worth it! I would recommend Richard to anyone looking for a photoshoot opportunity. We were offered drinks as we arrived and Richard sat with us for a chat to get to know us and ask what we were after from the day. This instantly put us at ease and put a smile on our face. The day was excellent and we had great fun in all the different poses Richard had us doing. Then the online preview of our photos looked superb and resulted in us buying canvas' as well as a photobook and standard pictures. We also have our Christmas cards now sorted. Couldn't be better

We had a shoot with Richard for a family photo of our two girls and their cousins as an anniversary gift for their grandparents. Richard instantly put them at ease and his relaxed and friendly manner produced really natural shots with all of them having a great time. Using the online gallery is so easy, but choosing favourites more difficult as there were so many great pictures. Would recommend Richard without question. VERY IMPORTANT- there is NO hard sell unlike other companies we have used.

Highly Recommended

I have seen Richard on three separate occasions now. The first was for a Boudoir shoot in November 2011. As somebody who really hates having my picture taken, I was extremely nervous about this but wanted a nice Christmas present for my boyfriend so was determined to go ahead. Richard organised a lovely make-up artist and from the moment I arrived I felt far more at ease than I had anticipated. During the shoot Richard was very professional and managed to help me relax enough to obtain some lovely photos that I was very pleased with. My boyfriend clearly approved too, as I was back the following year to have a pregnancy shoot, the results of which are a beautiful keepsake. A couple of months later I took my newborn son and have lovely pictures to look back on and treasure. I plan to return to Richard at some point in the next few months for a full family shoot, and will also be booking him as our wedding photographer when my boyfriend and I finally get round to getting married! Overall, delighted with my pictures and Richard's first class service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Family Photo Shoot

We had a family shoot (children aged 4 and 20 months) in March 2013. We all had had a fantastic time. There was a really relaxed and informal atmosphere which helped create some wonderful pictures. Richard was very friendly and professional who worked well with the children. The time flew by and we had so many lovely photos, it was extremely hard to choose!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Richard to family and friends.

Fantastic!

We used Richard Wilson Photography for our Wedding June 2012. Richard was fantastic. Very Professional and amiable

Our family wedding photographer!

Richard took photographs at my father and stepmum's wedding a few years ago, so we already knew that he took great photographs and was great at putting people at ease. So when my husband and I were looking for a wedding photographer earlier this year, we were really happy to find that he was available. Even throughout wedding was in Hampshire, Richard was happy to travel and arrived on time. Lots of guests said to us that he was lovely to work with - and the pictures are beautiful :-)

Would not hesitate to recommend!

We wanted to take a family photo of children/grandchildren as a surprise for our Mum and Dad's golden wedding anniversary. We didn't know who to ask, but I picked Richard off a Google search and gave him a call to see if he could help. He explained that, although he couldn't fit all 14 of us onto a single photo, he could take 3 separate family group shots and then put them all together to form a single photo. In addition, he was happy to take any number of additional family shots so that we could purchase them separately. When it came to the actual photo shoot, Richard was fantastic! He put us all at ease (as some of us were slightly reluctant to have our photos taken) and came up with some really creative ideas for how to group the family shots. He took loads of different photos and worked really quickly so that the younger children didn't become too bored and fed up. When we saw the actual photos online, we were delighted with the results. I found Richard to be extremely professional, friendly and excellent value for money, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to other people. Warm Friendly person, put you right at ease!

We employed Ricahard to do some corporate shots for our ongoing company PR, and despite the subject (me) being extremely reluctant, Richard managed to get the best of out of me to come up with some amazing shots. Great Photographer

Richard did a great job of photographing a really high turn over of people in a short space of time. I was tasked with taking photos of 65 members of NHS staff at two 2-hour sittings. Some staff were quite reluctant but Richard got lovely smiles out of even the grumpiest, and he did it all in super quick time, with great shots at the end. Even the people who considered themselves 'unphotogenic' were happy with their photos. He also did some photoshopping afterwards and the results were great. All for a very competitive price. He was pleasant, punctual and put people at ease. It was a pleasure working with him and I'll be calling him again next time I need a photographer.

Thrilled to bits

My daughter bought us a photo session for a christmas present last year. Best Christmas present ever!

I was looking for a photographer in Leeds as I wanted to give my boyfriend a professionally made calendar with erotic images of myself. After reading a few reviews about various photographers in Leeds and surroundings, I finally opted for Richard Wilson Photography. - Great choice! The shoot ended up being great! Richard invested a lot of time!! He did not start immediately, but talked to us (I took a friend as mental support), asked me again, what I was looking for, gave some creative ideas and took more pictures than expected! It was a fun shoot that I enjoyed a lot! The probably most difficult part was the large amount of images I had to choose from afterwards. There were so many good ones, but my budget unfortunately did not allow more than 12. I needed the calendar quite urgently, as my boyfriend went abroad by the end of November and can't thank enough for getting it on time. (I had the shoot in early November and did not choose the pictures until mid November) (If anyone wants to know: my boyfriend opened the present before he left and was stunned! :)) Best Christmas present so far!

Baby photo shoot

Amazing pictures

I got in touch with a few photographer's to take pictures of some product's to go on my new website. Of them all, what struck me about Richard was his friendliness and honesty. I chose Richard Wilson Photography because i thought his prices were very reasonable. I wanted a make over before my photo shoot and it was absolutely perfect, i felt like a model!! Richard took amazing photos and it broke my heart to have to choose which ones i wanted, i wanted them all! I will definitely come back in the future and i will recommend Richard to anyone.

“I wanted an up-to-date photograph as the youngest of my 3 children turned 18. Organising 5 adults is a challenge at the best of times & Richard handled us all perfectly. We laughed the whole time we were at the studio enjoying Richard's improvisational skills & professional talents – the photos are great! Superb portrait photographer!

Fantastic, knowledgeable and great value for money.

I booked a photo shoot with Richard for a client and it was brilliant. The photographs we got in the day were exactly what we wanted, matched our brand style and I had great choice of the file type and colour profiles I received them in. The models we used weren't professionals and where other photographers may struggle with this, Richard was excellent at guiding them and ensuring the photographs were perfect. I will definitely be coming back and recommending him to future clients.

Amazing!!!

I booked a photo shoot with Richard as a birthday treat for my daughters 9th birthday and he was AMAZING!! From the moment we arrived he made her feel special, he'd put up birthday banners and balloons and treated her like a princess. He made her feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera and captured some truly magical photo's. He absolutely made her day!!!!! Will definitely be going back for some family shots. Lovely Photos, Great Guy!

I have used Richard Wilson Photography three times now. Once for pre-wedding photos, second for our wedding and third for pregnancy photos with my wife. Every time Richard understands our brief perfectly, talking us through his ideas . You instantly feel at ease and he ensures you have fun taking photos with him. Loved it :)

Had a photo shoot done for a porfolio and i loved it. I was nervous at first but the atmosphere was great, had such a laugh. Was so relaxing, could of stayed all day. Richard was also so helpful, i could email him all the time and he would reply almost straight away. I'm so glad i picked to go here and nowhere else! The photo's are also amazing, and loads to chose from. Recommend it 100%

Enjoyable photo shoot

We were given a Portrait Experience with Richard as a 25th wedding anniversary present and really enjoyed the photo shoot together with an earlier make up/hair session for me. Richard and his chosen make up artist were friendly and considerate, chatting over coffee and wine throughout the session which we both found interesting and relaxing. We felt comfortable during the shoot - over 170 shots were taken so we were spoilt for choice when making our print selection a couple of days later. Our high quality prints arrived shortly after and are now on display. The Portrait Experience was a fantastic gift and we recommend Richard wholeheartedly.

Excellenbt Professional pics

Richard photographed the staff at Ford & Warren Solicitors for our new website (due to launch soon!) and did a great job. He was professional and really put people at ease behind the camera. I was spoilt for choice with all the images Richard supplied and would definitely recommend him to others.

Look no further for a wedding photographer!

Having a degree in photography means that my standards for my wedding photographer were high. Richard delivered in every single way. He was professional before, during and after the wedding. He isn't intrusive but get's the job done quietly and efficiently. He is very personable - many of guests commented on his people & organisational skills. The photo's were stunning and the design layout in our album is spot on. He looked smarter than some of guests on the day! Our location presented some problems but he worked around them seamlessly. Absolutely brilliant photographer!!!

Could not have asked for better

We went to Richard for a family photo with my Hubby, Mum, Dad and Nana. This was a special day for my Nana's 70th and Mum's 50th birthday. Richard was very friendly, professional and really helped to make the day a special one. The photo's were fantastic and I really like the fact they can be viewed online in our own time. Brilliant Photographer

It was by pot luck to use Richard Wilson Photography! We have used them from Manchester, London and to be absolutely honest with you! He was brilliant working with a 9 year old actress! Great last minute request

Richard was great at stepping in at the last minute for an urgent corporate PR photo shoot we needed. He followed the brief perfectly and was really prompt at getting the images we needed to us in time for our deadline. Richard was competitively priced too.

The best wedding photographer in Yorkshire!

We picked Richard after attending a million wedding fayres and scouring a million photography websites. I would recommend Richard to anyone, he was ultra professional, knew exactly what he was doing and the photos we got were amazing. The day was captured beautifully and in a style that we wanted. He really listened to what kind of photos we wanted and on the day he was brilliant - totally in control yet discreet. I can't stress how thrilled we were when we got the pictures back. They were really good quality images and we are so pleased!

Couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

Richard photographed our wedding & we could not be happier with the result! He captured the mood of our day perfectly & got some fabulous shots of us, our families & our friends. A First Class Service

Richard was absolutely fantastic and so much fun. The pictures turned out great! He was extremely efficient and proactive throughout the shoot and remained consistently helpful. fab experience from start to finish

Richard got some great results in what wasn't an easy photo shoot - a grumpy 5 month old baby and 8 adults! The photos were fantastic and the after-care brilliant. The online viewing and ordering system was also very easy to use. Would certainly recommend Richard in the future.

Great birthday party
