This comtemporary Indian restuarant was not what I expected. From the moment we walked into the restaurant we were greeted by friendly staff, pleasant surroundings, good lightening and beautiful decor. While waiting at the bar for our table to become ready (a few mins only) we ordered drinks, for a party of 10. As I was the disegnated driver, I did not partake of an beverage but the bar tender still offered me a glass of water. Once we had sat down at the table the waiters brought chappttis and dips, while we browsed the menu. Once we ordered our starters & main course we settle down to enjoy the evening. The waiters were very attentive the the starters arrived promptly, well present on the plate. I had the crab and cod cakes (£5.25) and my partner had Gilafi Seek Kebab (£4.25) both were tasted delicious, (as I did have to have taste of my partners starter, well you do don't you). The main course came along at the right time after finishing our starters not to soon or to late. I had the Madu Murg (£8.50) and my partner had the Old Delhi Chicken Curry (£8.50) once again both were delicious, the Madu Murg, was similar to a korma but tasted better. We had a selection of rice, I would recommend the mushroom rice and the nan breads of which we had the garlice, chilli, plain and the peswhari was the best nan breads I have ever tasted I would just go back just for that alone. I good evening out, would recommend this highly either for a large group or for an intimate evening
