2005
We, the Fletcher family joined Rising Spirit Academy four months ago with the need to get back into shape and for self-defence purposes. The dual disciplines with array of weapons and family-based training where parents and kids can train together is what attracted us. We found the venue easy to locate with ample parking, and a warm and friendly welcome from Mr Williams. Always professional, his style of training lends itself to be physically and mentally challenging whilst patient enthusiasm shines through, ensuring we get the best out of training with full enjoyment. It’s also beneficial because classes are available four days a week and on the Leadership Programme to becoming black belts, we can train together for all four days. Our personal development has evolved and we have established endurance, flexibility and muscular strength along with tons of confidence. Thanks to you Mr Williams!

I have been going to the classes just under a year now and I think they are brilliant. I practice both TKD and KKB, I can't decide which one I prefer as they are both really excellent and enjoyable. I was initially concerned that I was too old (47) and not fit enough but i have been able to keep up and my fitness and stamina has improved significantly - I couldn't do one press-up when i started and now can do up to 20 and not the 'lady' one neither! Seriously thou I think the instructors and the teaching is excellent and i really love doing the training. It is suitable for everyone.
