Originally apprenticed from the age of 17 by a specialist independent mechanic concentrating on Peugeot and Renault, I found myself moving to South Yorkshire where I became a Mechanic working for a local main dealer.
Once the time felt right I made the transition to go self employed and set up my own business. Initially I concentrated on the Mobile element working from a distinctive yellow van but as the business progressed I found myself with a requirement to expand and obtained premises in Doncaster.
I have over the years built up a loyal clientele of regular customers, and my sign written van can often be seen throughout the area, although I mostly find myself working from my unit which is equipped with a vehicle lift.
More Recently Robs Autos have grown again and we restructured the company.
