Here at Robsons Dental Surgery we take great pride in providing high quality NHS dental care. We have been established for over 90 years.
We are fully CQC compliant and have regular inspections with both the CQC, PCT and BDA.
We have 5 full time surgeries and reserve emergency appointments on a daily basis. We use a modern approach to provide high quality care and treatment. We use digital radiography (x- rays) to monitor your oral health and with the assistance of our dental hygienist and oral health education team provide you with a tailor made oral health plan. We are registered with the BDA good practice scheme which is dentistry's leading quality assurance programme.
We have been appointed a vocational training and general professional training practice for the last 27 years.
All of our staff are registered with the General Dental Council and take a serious approach to continued professional development.
Our dental nurses have been training in a number of extended skills including dental radiography, oral health education, impression taking, fluoride application and smoking cessation.
We are working with Newcastle and Dundee University Dental Schools as appointed research champions dedicated to further developments in both adult and children's dental development.
