Roche Blackbelt academy is led by Sensei Graham Roche 5th Dan who has over 30 years experience in martial arts such as Kickboxing, Karate, Kung-Fu, Jiu Jitsu, Submission Wrestling and Boxing.Graham Says, Roche BlackBelt Academy is my life passion. I have been training students and creating champions of all ages and abilities. Here at the dojo we teach not just martial arts, but the values of respect, focus and discipline.

About Us

From students as young as 4 in our club we install a sense of pride and respect in all. We don't create or tolerate bullies, we create confident happy and respectful students.

Our purpose equipped Martial Arts Dojo in Lofthouse Wakefield was completed in March 2011 and gives our students the equipment, surroundings and time to be the best they can be.

RBA is part of Shorai International lead by my master Jo Tierney who has clubs all over the world.

Our Services

Roche Blackbelt Academy train in MMA Kickboxing Karate and Fitness at our world-class custom fit dojo in Wakefield. Our martial arts masters teach respect focus discipline and what it takes to be a true black belt. We welcome all ages and abilities, we are Roche Blackbelt Academy.

Specialist Services - Personal Training - [Calesthenics] & [ladies only Classes}

CALESTHENICS = is a Body weight training program using our own body weight, bands and minimal weights, this training regime is designed to strengthen and sculpture the body. This type of training is suitable for men and women, I have been using this type of training for around 5 years now and I have never been stronger or felt better.
LADIES ONLY CLASSES = Carol is our Qualified BOXERCISE coach and this class is just for the ladies 16 years and over, this class is purely a fitness class. The class is suitable for all fitness abilities.
BOOTCAMP is also run by our qualified female coach Carol, Our bootcamp class is just for the ladies, our bootcamp is based on kickboxing style training. The class is suitable for ladies of all fitness abilities, All our classes can be taken at your own pace.

Awards

At Roche Black Belt Academy we regularly host ‘Fight Nights' in conjunction with other local clubs to give our students the opportunity to fight against other students. In addition to competing in Karate, Kick boxing and MMA events within Wakefield and the surrounding area, We also enter national British and international championships.
