BUYER BEWARE! NO REFUNDS policy.

Buyer beware of Roman's NO REFUNDS policy which I fell foul of yesterday having hastily purchased a dress I didn't have time to try on properly. I emerged from the fitting room wearing it over jeans and laced up boots. "That looks great!" chorussed the shop assistants, "What? Even over my jeans and boots?" I joked. "I'll try it on at home properly and if it's not right can I bring it back?" "Yes, you have 14 days." Reassured I paid, NOT NOTICING the small print at the till and having NOT been alerted to the fact that I could only have an EXCHANGE or CREDIT NOTE within 14 days. When I attempted to return the unsuitable dress yesterday I was only then directed to that notice and the small print on my receipt. "We don't legally have to say no refunds, it's written right there" I was told then. So, if you decide to purchase anything from Roman, please be fully aware of their policy before you pay. Be certain and don't be cajoled by flattering staff. If you change your mind for whatever reason you WON'T get a refund. I WON'T be shopping in ROMAN ever again and will alert all my friends to their policy. An unwary and unsatisfied customer, Southport.
