We recently moved from Bolts Hill, Chartham to a house in Herne Bay which had considerable faults with the roof according to the pre-purchase survey. I have worked for the last 20 years in the capacity of the Company Secretary or Management Accountant/ Estimator for a variety of companies involved in the Construction Industry, as a result of which have knowledge of most established roofing contractors and other trades in the local area. Mr Fuller was 1 of 2 roofing specialists that we approached for a quotation and elected to have the work done by him and his workforce as he was able to commence works earlier than the other (and at a lower price). He organised scaffolding so that not only the roof could be repaired but also fascias/ guttering, chimney and external walls + repainting the whole building. There are adjacent properties to our house that were/ are in the process of rebuilding of rebuilding or renovation that were having block paving works carried out to driveways/ patios and upon enquiring with the builders involved were quoted an average price of approx. £3,500 for our driveway that allowed for the job to be completed in 10 working days. Mr Fuller gave an alternative quotation for the same price but indicated that the work could be completed in 7 working days. Having become aware of similar works that he had carried out elsewhere, we asked Mr Fuller to proceed. Not only was the work completed within the timeframe despite losing a day through bad weather but ended up costing nearer £3,200 and we also had a coal shed re-roofed and refurbished at no extra cost whilst they were unable to work during adverse conditions. We are very satisfied with the quality of works completed and would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Fuller and associates for any sort of general building work
