Courtney - Denise is the best!!

My driving instructor Denise was amazing, she taught me in a way that is easy to understand and was very patient with me. I always felt comfortable when on my lessons and i could speak to her about anything; such as what i was struggling with and wanted to go over more and improve on. Thanks to Denise I passed my test first time and feel safe and confident to now drive on the roads alone. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Passed 1st time with Dee!

Started lessons on my 17th birthday with Dee. She is a lovely instructor, very patient, calm and knows what she is talking about! Lessons were readily available for a time that suited me and made sure that I got the most out of my money and lesson. Passed theory test with advice and help from Dee, one hour of theory from a qualified instructor is priceless to ensure a pass! Dee made it simple and easy to remember. I truly believe I will be a safe driver for the whole of my life because of the way Dee taught me to drive from the start. I would recommend Dee and her team to anyone who wants to learn to drive properly to be safe on the roads once passed! It isn't just about learning how to pas a test, it is about learning to drive for life! There are no words to describe how Dee can teach you to drive, it is amazing! THANK YOUUUUUU

If you are starting your lessons for the first time I would highly recommend Dee and her rookie school of motoring!!! She is a great instructor in every way, extremely supportive and superb at teaching. Lessons were great and she helped me gain the driving skills i needed immediately. I just have to say 'WooHoo! Passed my driving test on my first attempt, which I can only attribute to the excellent tuition I have had over the past year from Dee! I have felt encouraged and supported at all points by someone who has taken the time to actually understand how I learn and in which areas I need that extra bit of input as a human being and not just someone who hands over money by the hour. I cannot praise Dee enough!! What an amazing driivng Instructor, whom I would now class as a friend. Incredible! I have a pink licence.. you could too!!!!

Where do I start? I first met Dee when I finally plucked up the courage to start my driving lessons after I'd ran out of excuses not to. The first step of sitting my first lesson was the easiest, the hardest part was keeping them up! Thankfully I had the welcoming and friendly approach from Dee who very quickly helped me build road confidence and encourage a stronger more committed me. I cannot begin to explain what possibilities I now have after completing this journey with Rookie School of Motoring with a pink licence in hand. Dee really helped me through the times where I thought I'd never see my challenge through to the end and I felt she did in both a professional and gracious way. She was by my side right up to my test day.. even having my favourite coffee ready for me upon pick up which alongside the nerves of the day. really helps. Dee was so genuinely happy for me when I passed and so she should be as this was a massive reflection on her teachings. I'm pleased I searched the web and found Rookie School of Motoring as I not only found an instructor but by the end I made a friend. I really would encourage anyone who is looking for an instructor to just make a call and find out more.. I know all the instructors of Rookie share the same approach so whoever you manage to book in with I know you'll be in safe hands. I'll always stay in touch with Dee and who knows.. i'll prob soon be booking in for motorway training.. I don't think I can do the M62 alone!! I would highly recommend Dee and her motoring school. Like many other reviewers have said, Dee has a real charm and talent for making people feel at ease and building their confidence as a new driver. Fantastic Driving School!!!!!!!

If you're looking for a driving instructor in the Manchester area then I would definitely recommend Dee, an absolutely fantastic instructor!!!!!! I have absolutely no hesitations in highly recommending the amazing Dee to everyone wanting to learn to drive! Dee is the most patient, calm and supportive person I have ever come across. She explains things clearly and although I was a very nervous learner to begin with, I never felt under any pressure or stressed. Dee is a very talented instructor who is passionate about teaching people to be safe and confident on the road. I have really appreciated how flexible Dee is with lesson times and that she always made time to go through things until I was 100% comfortable. Passed driving test first time!

I have been having driving lessons with Dee for around 10 months (with a 3 month break in the middle for health reasons – so more like 7 months really!) I passed my test two days ago with 5 minors. Dee is a really great instructor. I always got the feeling that she really respected me as a student, and I know how much she believes in treating her students like real people. For this reason I'm sure she gets the best out of everyone she teaches. I had never sat behind the wheel of a car until I got into the car with Dee, and I can't believe that less than a year later I am feeling really confident about being a safe (and now licensed!) driver. Her advice was always spot on and generous (including advice for my partner with whom I practised throughout). Especially leading up to the test, about which I was very nervous, Dee gave me great advice and made me feel really good about my driving which I think was a big reason why I passed first time. If you want an instructor who isn't going to make you feel stupid or bad about your ability or the speed at which it takes you to learn, Dee is a great instructor to go for. I also get the impression that the way Rookie works as a company as a whole is great – a few weeks before my test I had a mock with another instructor which was a really great way to build up my confidence and gain experience.

Driving instructor training..

A massive thank you to Dee for trainin me to become a driving instructor. Only 30% of poeple who train to become a driving instructor pass within 3 attempts...i passed first time(grade 5!) and only 2% do that. If Carlsberg did driving instructors

It would probably be Dee. I really can't thank you enough and I enjoyed every lesson right through to passing my test first time. Dee is amazing and really goes out of her way to help you along, from picking me up at the break of dawn just so the roads were relatively clear to eating into her own time explaining things to me until I had a good understanding of what I needed to know. She doesn't just teach you to pass the test she actually teaches you to drive and be confident in what you are doing, by doing this I felt the actual test was a walk in the park as I dealt with much tougher roads and situations in the final few lessons with Dee than I did on the test. I always felt she knew where I was with everything as well or everything she did there was a reason for it, she never gave me too much for me to handle but always kept pushing to the point every lesson was a challenge but its one you always accomplish as she knows where you're at with it so the confidence slowly builds. I now want to continue with Dee and do some advanced drving to progress even further which I'm looking forward too. I can't thank you enough Dee and I'll be seeing you again soon.

Thank You KELLY!!

Thank you Kelly!! I had a previous driving instructor at another school who gave me nothing but a fear of the road. Kelly almost knew all the problems I had during the first lesson I has with her. She brought the confidence in me teaching how to handle different road scenarios and manoeuvres in simple and in a way I cannot forget forever. I used to be afraid of ‘parallel parking’ and ‘big round about’ amazingly after her couching these were the ones I had for my practical exam on which I passed with confidence. Before i started to learn to drive with kelly, i had one previous instructor, they taught me nothing and i had no confidence. When i started with kelly i was a nervous wreck and had no road awareness! Fortunately kelly changed all of this and turned me into a safe and confident driver. Highly recommended

I just passed my driving test today, with the help from Dee as my instructor for 10 months. Through difficult days and good days she has kept her good mood, positive attitude and knowledge at 100% each lesson and taught me to drive in an excellent way. She is a very realistic and fair instructor, she looks at her job as a service - a service she performs extremely well. She accomodates the lessons to suit your schedule and no time is a bad time for her it feels. I wouldn't even dream of going through a crash-course, I now feel competent and secure on the roads much thanks to Dee. There is a reason why she has got sooo many professional qualifications; the lady sure knows how to teach people how to drive in a safe manner, but also with confidence. I am sure I will still hear her voice next to me reminding me to R.E.A.D T.H.E R.O.A.D and take my time whilst I am now moving out ont he roads on my own. Would highly recommend taking lessons with Dee! Thank you for 10 fun months! x

CATHERINE IS AMAZING!!!!

I started my driving lessons with Catherine in 2009 and she was absolutely fantastic. Even though I was extremely nervous, she made me feel relaxed and helped me gain confidence to pass my test... The amount of lessons I had with Catherine wasn't any way near how many some of my friends had had with other driving schools and I just thought that they were just trying to make more money. Whereas Catherine always thought about every lesson making it worth my while!! I passed my test 2nd time not long after and was so happy!! I kept in touch with Catherine and recommended my friends to contact her cause she was so FAB! Unfortunately I lost my license because of insurance reasons (It wasn't because of my driving!) and I was so gutted. I rang Catherine about 2months ago and asked for her great help once again to get my license back! Without hesitation we booked a lesson in that night and off we went. I had the minimal amount of lessons needed and we booked my test - she was always checking for cancelations for me as she knew I wanted to get it over with!! After 6 weeks of refreshing my memory with it all, she waited patiently at the test centre whilst I did my test. AND I PASSED! We were so happy and wrote my name in her book of 'passed students' with the date by it. You'd be mad not to go with Catherine at Rookie Red for whenever you need help with lessons or passing your test, she's the best. I cannot thank her enough for her support and faith in me that I could do it again!!! Thankyou :)

The Wonderful DEE

I can not thank the wonderful Dee enough, passing my test will change my life in so many ways! and its all down to the the fact that Dee and her fellow instructors Mike and Kelly are so knowlegable, patient, kind, and always put there pupils first. Where other instructors and driving schools fail is due to how much money they can make, DEE and Rookie Red Driving School are not like that, Dee cares about you, and your future driving experience, nothing is too much trouble and Dee has gone out of her way for me on so many occasions. Theory Test

I recently passed my theory test and all thanks to Dee she has helped me understand the rules of the road and any questions i had she was there to answer them. I have so much confidence behind the whel and feel relaxed. Dee leant me a disk which helped me a lot with my theory as it covered everything even had sections like road signs, motorway rules things like that. I look forward to my lessons as i feel at ease and do not feel that if i slip up ill get shouted at like previous instructors. Some people think instructors are just there to teach you to drive this is not true Dee has helped my with every aspect of driving inc theory. THANKS DEE FOR EVERYTHING

I can not describe in words how great Dee is as a Driving Instructor and person. Dee suggested I buy the theory pack made up by the driving school, it breaks down the different sections of the theory. It definitely works and it shows you which areas you need to improve on. I passed and got 47 out of 50 which I'm delighted with. I owe it all to dee as she has helped me along the way and encouraged me to get on and do it, thank you so much dee your a star!!

Dee - The best ever!!

I passed my test today first time! I still can't believe it! But I can't put it in words how grateful I am to Dee for the amazing lessons, support, assurance and knowledge she has given me. Dee is very patient and has this amazing way of explaining everything that it just clicks and off you are on your way to be a very safe, competent and a confident driver. I enjoyed our lessons thoroughly. Dee is very friendly, patient and fun. rookie changed my life!

When I first started my lessons with dee I had already had 4 instructors and my confidence was so low I nearly gave up on driving for good! Then someone who I new passed and I was told about rookie then came along (dee) and changed my life, she gave me the confidence to believe I could pass my test and that I had just as good a chance as everyone else! Dee was always there whenever I needed my lessons what ever time I was available. She its such a great teacher and person and I am so glad I found her! Without dee I don't think I would of had the faith in myself to go through with it but luckly I did! And I passed this afternoon first time! I am so happy and I want to say thanks dee your a star, I still can't believe it xx

Thanks to Kelly, Cath and Dee! Best around!

Just passed with Kelly as my instructor, with good prices and availability. She understood my other attachments, and would tutor me early in the mornings, late at night, to even weekends if I needed too! I was extremely nervous before test and she ensured I was calm, and fully prepared! You really do make a friend when youre with Rookie! I have! Teaching was first class and I couldnt have asked for better I am fully confident now that I am as safe and aware on the roads as I could be! Thankyou!

Fully Reccomend

I found this driving school brilliant, i was put in for my test as soon i was ready, i passed after just 3 months of lessons, they provide a great price and a massive reduction compared to other schools who may make you take more lessons than needed, i had the instructor kelly who was brilliant, fully enthusiastic and passionate to her job and pupils, i recommend this school to any learner for a quick and fun experience and a pass at the end.

Highly Recommended

I decided to use Rookie Red Driving School after reading several positive reviews on the internet. The positive reviews were well deserved. The instruction by Kelly was second to none. I passed first time after only 3 months of driving lessons with no other tuition/driving. Learning to drive these days is costly, however, Rookie Red Driving School ensure that you are put in for your test as soon as you are ready. Kelly provided a professional and friendly service and I would not hesitate recommending the school to my friends and family.

Absolutley fantastic driving school. I couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor than Dee. She is a wonderful teacher and a good laugh. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the lessons i had and managed to pass my test with 0 minors. I feel more than confident that i can now take to the roads on my own. Thanks Dee :)

Dee Your A Star!

Just passed my test first time!! I can't quite believe it yet but I would like to say a huge thanks to Denise for the first class tuition she gave. She creates a calm atmosphere for your lessons and gives you the best possible help to not only get you through your test but also drive in the real world. Kelly also took me for a couple of lessons and I would like that say thanks as the tuition she gave was also first class. I would recommend this driving school to anyone!! Cheers Dee! :)

Cheers Cath!

I just passed my test thanks to amazing Cath! I've had 3 instructors before her and all of them either ran away from me or didnt really bother teaching me to drive properly. Cath is a perfect teacher as well as a lovely person. She was very flexible with timing and location. I enjoyed all my lessons with her and will actually miss her loads :( definitely will recommend RSOM to everyone! xx

Big thanks to Dee, was very, very nervous when I first started out, but she made me feel really at easy, courtesy of being really friendly and chatty in the car. Highly Reccomended

Kelly was my 4th driving instructor but by far the best. I used to get extremely nervous, especially during tests and used to make stupid mistakes because of it. Kelly helped me to overcome my nerves and build my confidence - doing two mock tests with another Rookie instructor (Cath) also helped me practice controlling my nerves in a test situation. I only had a few weeks of lessons before I took my first test with Kelly and passed with only 2 minors!

Cath you are Fantastic driving instructor

I passed my driving test after a beautiful journey. I am very pleased with all my driving lesson as Cath is fantastic teacher. I think “Rookie” is one of the very few driving schools in UK that organized a mock test after 10-15 lessons which is very helpful to work on mistake as well as build confidence. Cath you are very friendly and honest with all the advice. She is very flexible with timing. She fit all lessons around work.I really respect her for that. Hard to put into words how amazing Dee and Rookie were, I never thought in a thousand years I would pass at my age (40 something) Lessons early morning ,Lessons to work (15miles away), and when I did not feel great Dee was there to get me back on track and put in extra time and get me back on track and yes no surprise I passed first time also like everybody else. She make you feel like you are the only one she is teaching and giving 100% to but she is doing this to all her students
