Our comfortable luxury accommodation is laid out over the upper two floors of an attractive Victorian house at the seaward end of Portishead High Street. Opened in June 2013. The perfect hideaway for a weekend getaway or equally great for the business traveller looking for comfort and privacy at the end of the day. Downstairs from Rooms @ Venga will be Venga Tapas Bar and Restaurant opening October 2013.
Venga will be a vibrant addition to the growing number of eating out options in Portishead serving great, fresh cooked Tapas, great wine and beer in an informal atmosphere throughout the day and evening.
The Rooms
The stylish rooms at Venga are laid out over the upper two floors of an attractive Victorian house. The VENGA Loft is a luxurious two bedroom apartment which we also make available as a beautiful Self Catering Holiday Let. The apartment is spacious with over 77 square metres of living space with the Master Bedroom being 26 sqm alone
VENGA Loft
Set up in the roof beams of this Victorian property. This apartment is available as B&B for up to four people or a self catering apartment. Has a double room (super king bed) and a twin room.
Hepburn Room
Super king-size bed in an impressive room. Individual décor recently refurbished ensure you will be in quality surroundings.

Stunning - real Wow factor” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 August 2013 NEW We needed a couple of nights in Portishead and came across this accidentally. We wanted something central so that we could walk to most everything so booked somewhat blindly as Venga is at the beginning of the High Street. Access & parking was a little difficult but we managed to park right outside. From the outset, the owners, Mike and Chris could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Audrey Hepburn room. The attention to detail throughout was incredible. We've stayed in some top hotels that could learn a thing or two from Venga's example. It's a large room with the bathroom a short corridor away but as the entire floor was only for our use, it's effectively en suite. Top quality Egyptian bedding and a huge 6 foot bed. Breakfast was continental but that doesn't do it justice. if you're expecting a Full English, you might be disappointed but you will be impressed. A coffee making machine with a wide selection of coffees and other hot and cold drinks, a fridge in the room - there was even a decanter of port. Mike's a wine expert and we were welcomed into the soon to be opened Tapas restaurant for a glass or two of wine and some tips about the local area. Portishead is a delightful town going up market with its beautiful marina area and improvements throughout the town. You will not be disappointed and we will return, I'm sure. Well done Mike and Chris and good luck with the restaurant opening.
