worst hotel in the world!!! daylight robbery!

I cannot believe that this place has the audacity to call itself a hotel...more like a hovel! i also can't believe the ludicrous price we were asked to pay...£100 a night to stay in a dirty, ill painted, ill decorated nightmare. The 'En-Suite' was a portaloo in a cupboard ( not joking) and it stank of stale water. It was also leaking into the breakfast room below! There was one towel for two people and that smelt of damp. The bed was from the 70's and the windows were jammed open...probably to get rid of the vile smell.Breakfast was disgusting and I daren't touch the dust covered cereal jars! Do not stay here! Charging money to stay in places like this should be a criminal offence. I feel robbed and dirty after my visit to the festival and next year I will get a taxi to Glasgow as it will be cheaper and more luxurious than this excuse for a budget, downmarket B&B. It never was and never will be a hotel!!!

When I called to book the hotel I was told that the price they advertised with "Visit Scotland" was not valid as they put their prices up for the edinbugh festival.Nothing like ripping people off to get them in the mood for a festival. Everything about the hotel is done on the cheap. Toilet built into a cupboard, uncomfortable bed, stained pillows, noisey pipe work, windows hard to open/shut and to top it off the food was rotten.
