Welcome

My name is Robert Thompson, but most people call me Bob. I have been a professional Photographer for 30 years, 25 of those years were spent in the RAF as a full time Photographer. I was the last Sgt Photographer at RAF Coltishall prior to its closure in 2006, and have now settled in the area at Norwich. In 2002 I received the Commander In Chiefs Commendation in the Queens New Years Honours List for my outstanding contribution using Digital Photography on a front line unit.

About Me

My work has allowed me to photograph many challenging situations from Royal visits, including H.M The Queen, the Queen mother, Prince Andrew and Princess Alexandra to Air to Air, technical studio work , portraits, video work and teaching.

I am really passionate about weddings and thoroughly enjoy the full day, I start before the wedding ceremony and finish around 9 pm so that I don't miss a thing.

I have a very relaxed approach and have been told I have a very calming influence on such a stressful day.

I always strive to produce new and exciting photographs and take between 600 - 1500 photos in the course of the day.

The best part for me apart from enjoying the day, is meeting and chatting with all the guests and getting the full experience, and portraying that experience in pictures.
