ABSOLUTELY 5 STARS SOLON!!
I have been to Ruby Reds for the 1st time for a cut and colour by John, and I have to say this is the best hairstyle ever since I have been in the UK the last 10 years!! As someone with thick and dead straight hair like me, I gave up getting much style and had my hair done as a bob cut most of the time, but John changed it all. He made the result outstanding and made me feel like a superstar! It was not just myself, my husband has never complimented my hair cut before, but after Ruby Reds, he said, “the new hair style and colour suit you very much and you look very sexy & spicy..." Wow :-) !!! John is an absolute 5 star professional hairstylist, I recommend him to all my friends. And I would like to recommend him and the salon to anyone who would like to have beautiful hair style experience in Reading. I have booked my next appointment and I am going to take my mother inlaw there when she is back to the UK from Spain.

Fantastic
Went yesterday with my DIY yellow, broken, long, straggly locks after several disasters at other salons and at home. I'd had a consultation with John a few days before and he was brutally honest with me which I appreciated. John re-caped what we had discussed to make sure I was happy with his plan to 'fix' me.... and I really wish I'd taken before and after pictures! I left looking about ten years younger with hair that felt amazing! John used various colours to completely rid me of all the yellow and tone the whole blonde thing down - yet still leaving me looking predominantly blonde. And despite cutting about a third of my hair off it looks like I've got more hair, the cut is excellent, probably the best I've ever had! The staff are friendly and judging by the number of long standing customers that came in whilst I was there, I get the feeling people stick with the salon. Overall an excellent experience and I would highly recommend the salon.

ABSOLUTELY 1ST CLASS!!
Went to Ruby Reds for the 1st time today for a cut and colour and have to say I was VERY impressed with the final result I got from John. He is an absolute star and really does know his stuff-particularly for someone with fine hair like myself. I would recommend him and the salon to anyone, and have already booked my next appointment :o)

Nice Stylist, Shame About the Cut
I had high hopes for this salon, given the positive reviews. However, despite clearly stating the cut and style I wanted, the stylist seemed far too interested in chatting rather than cutting, leading to a cut that was FAR too short and the complete opposite to what I had asked her. Given how important my hair is to me, in future I'll definitely look for another hairdresser that pays more attention to the cut rather than the customer's weekend.

Perfection!
I have been going to Ruby Reds since 1980 and I simply wouldn't go anywhere else. It is a very friendly relaxed salon, and I am always really pleased with the cut and whole experience every time I visit. Richard and all his staff are excellent. If you are looking for the perfect hairdressing experience, then look no further, and I'm sure you will become a long standing customer like me!

Great for Thick Hair
As someone with thick hair that has a mind of it own, it is great to have a hairdresser who not only knows about different types of hair but what style suits. The staff are friendly in and out of the salon and the service is exceptional. Not only do I use Ruby Reds but so do my 2 daughters, my sister and her daughter.

Fabulous
I have visited a few hairdressers in the town centre over the years but noen compare to Ruby Reds. i had long hair until yesterday, i wanted a total restyle and John did me proud, i felt so comfortable about him cutting the length and the end result is fabulous. i am so pleased with it. i also get a lot of helpful tips from John about how to look aftermy hair. All the staff at Rubys are lovely people so carign and polite, I know i will be sticking with the salon. Thanks especially to John and Sam who look after my hair

AMAZING!!!
Ruby Reds is hand on heart the best hairdressers i have ever been to. And i'll stick with them! I have always had problems finding the right hair dresser, and John, along with all the other staff have been absolutely amazing! They always know what sort of look i want and what i'm trying to achieve. I come out with a smile on my face every time without fail. My hair is looking the best it has done in a long time and it's all down to Ruby Reds! Love them all!

Simply Outstanding
I have travelled all over the world and experienced a vast number of hair salons in my time but not one has come anywhere near the outstanding, first class professional service offered by Ruby Reds. Richard and his staff have consistently exceeded my expectations, always going the extra mile to help their customers. They are extremely welcoming and friendly and their expert advice is second to none. I have unfortunately had some very bad experiences at other well known hair salons, however Richard put me at ease straight away and I could immediately tell that his wealth of experience meant one thing - fantastic advice and even more fantastic results! Quite simply, Richard and his team are the epitome of customer service - I always look forward to my visits and I would most certainly recommend them without hesitation.

Amazing Salon Experience
I have tried many salons in Reading, but nothing has managed to top my recent trip To Ruby Reds. One of the longest running salons in Reading, situated very close to the train station. This was great for me because I get the train into train every week. The salon looks really modern, the lighting and decor looked fab and the minute I walked through the door I was made to feel welcome. The whole experience was brilliant, with complimentary drinks, expert knowledge and a friendly unrushed atmosphere. Salon owner Richard and his staff made me feel like a superstar and I will definitely be going back. I loved my hair cut and the entire experience. Fab!

I have been a customer at Ruby Reds since I moved to Reading in 1999. The staff are all very friendly and professional and I have loved my cuts and styles over the yrs. They are very flexible when I wish to have a fringe trim between cuts and always fit me in. I always look forward to going there and having my hair cut.
