Carpet Moth Killer
A new water based moth killer specifically formulated for use on oriental rugs and carpets. Carpet Moth Killer is supplied ready to use in a 500ml trigger spray. Remove pets and children from the room until dry. Lightly spray the back and front of your rug (just a misting). For fitted carpet, spray the front only. Leave to dry: this shouldn't take more than one hour.
Carpet and Rug Shampoo
A new carpet and rug shampoo that is safe to use on all carpets and rugs. It contains NO bleach. Test a small, inconspicuous area first, for colour fastness. Vacuum carpet, turn nozzle to ON, shake bottle, spray enough shampoo to dampen the grubby area, agitate area with a soft brush, leave to dry and vacuum areas as normal.

This review is from: Carpet Moth Killer (Kitchen & Home) I had just had a new baby when found we had quite an infestation in one room. Then we found evidence a few weeks later in the kids bedrooms. I was very worried about the health of the kids but I had nothing to worry about. Hoover the room really well and then spray this around the skirts and moth eaten areas. It's not particularly smelly, more like concentrated fairy liquid smell. It dries very quick. There has been no evidence of the larvae since application 6 weeks ago. It recommends to reapply in a year. We certainly will as having carpet moths just made us feel dirty but when you have wool carpet this is what can happen.
