The good quality furnishings, an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness, a hamper on the kitchen table waiting to welcome you, a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge, a log fire waiting to be lit and an ample supply of fresh towels and quality toiletries – these are some of the ingredients of a perfect, well earned break.

Services

You can start your Rural Retreats holiday on any day of the week, a service offered at most of our properties throughout most of the year. When you arrive at your chosen property you will receive a courtesy call from our housekeeper to ensure that everything is as it should be. Your complimentary hamper will contain milk, tea, fresh coffee, bread, butter, eggs, juice, wine and cheese, along with other essential items to prepare a light snack or breakfast. There is no charge for heating, electricity, gas or solid fuel. Service cleans are complimentary for stays of eight days or more. We also offer free broadband or WiFi facilities at many properties – please check before booking that this facility is available. We offer a secure Online Booking Service at www.ruralretreats.co.uk.
