First Hevy festival in Folkestone a great success

Main sound contractor Blu Sounds employed SRD Group to provide a GAE Waveline line array system for the main stage at the new Hevy Festival which took place at the seafront in Folkestone, Kent on 1st August.Despite high winds preventing the erection of towers to fly the system from, SRD provided a ground stacked solution which provided excellent coverage and quality of sound for the small site. Bands including Feeder, Gary Numan and Ash played, and despite the rain everyone had a great time.An Allen & Heath iLive 144 digital sound desk was supplied for monitors, and a Yamaha M7CL performed front of house mixing.
