Sandown Guesthouse was lovingly refurbished in 2011 to a high standard of comfort. An informal & friendly welcome is offered to all guests, who are welcome to come and go as they please. Breakfast is all locally sourced with award winning produce. The true jewel in the crown is the location, situated in a peaceful part of Bowness-on-Windermere in the heart of the English Lake District yet still only a few minutes gentle stroll to Lake Windermere and all that Bowness village has to offer. There is plenty of guest parking within the grounds.
Sandown Guesthouse currently has 4 guest rooms, each having en-suite shower rooms, flat screen TVs with freeview, refreshment trays, free Wi-Fi and all guests rooms are located on the ground floor so no struggling with any luggage!
Our usual rooms rates are approx.: Double Room £70-£90 per night, Single £40-£55 per night. Rates are dependent on time of year, bank holidays etc.
