Western nations offered to Middle Eastern clients for decades before the European and American woman became interested and the popluarity of eyebrow threading sky rocketed.
The hair removal technique is not just for the eyebrows; threading can be used to remove facial and body hair as well. The technique is sometimes listed on salon menus as Khite or fatlah, which are both Arabic words for threading.
Eyebrow threading involves twisting a piece of thread, usually cotton, into a double strand. this double strand thread is used
to pick up a line of hair and then remove it, creating a very clean, precise hairline. Eyebrow threading is the technique preferred by asian movie stars, who are often distinguished by their crisp brow lines.

Threading disaster
Had my eyebrows threaded here on thursday 25th june and let's just say I have never encountered anywhere so unprofessional and rude and well quite frankly useless in my life. Was greeted by a young girl who I advised that I just wanted my eyebrows tidying up with stray hairs as I was going away. She told me to sit down and then started. When she said she was done she showed me a mirror which I couldn't see very well as my eyes were watering. I went to the toilet and notice that my right eyebrow was literally missing half my eyebrow and looked terrible. I went back to the browbar and spoke to them an older lady agreed they were bad and she apologised and then offered to fix them and make them even. She done this while talking in a foreign language to the other two members of staff which i find very rude. When she was done she advised she had to take a lot off to match them up and well when I looked I was left with a tiny strip of brow and nothing else. They apologised again and offered my next time visiting free of charge. I refused this and advised that I would not be going back. Despite all this i posted on facebook warning people and the local newspaper near me saw this and wrote an article. The browbar were contacted and blatantly lied saying they advised me not to have anything done and that i was rude and shouting at the staff. None of this was true I had my teenage daughter with me as well. I have been slandered by this company and have now found out they are contacting ex customers trying to get them to stand up for them. Despite me having about 25 people that I have spoken to that have had equally or even worse experiences then myself including being cut. AVOID at all costs

Eyebrow tint incompetent and unprofessional
I recently on the 17/09/14 got an eyebrow tint done by a beautician. However, the beautician never asked me to complete a patch test or sign a contract. Thus, i did the tint despite making them aware that I have sensitive skin on the phone call. On wednesday I could feel my eyebrows burn and they started to go red. On thursday when I woke up my skin was bruised,itchy, swallon and severely puffy. I tried to place eye packs as it was burning my skin. Then on FRiday it got worse i could only see partially through my right eye. When The owner rang me she verbally abused my mother and called my mum a liar. And even stated that she would come to my house but then stated i should come to her. Which meant i had to remove my medication that the doctor had given me in emergancy just to go and visit her. The owner when I arrived began verbally accussing me and although accepted liability for her unprofessional staff. Wasn't helping me. Masooma Saleem was rude, threatening me that I was at wrong. When in fact her unprofessional tone of manner left me emotionally and mentally stressed and distraught. To calm the atmosphere she called her husband Saleem Hameed who listened to me but stated he needs to speak to his lawyers and will call me back within 24hrs. Come saturday I am writing this review as he hasn't rang. I am going to the hospital due to negligence on their side as I am emotionally, physically, mentally and financially affected by their non professional service. My parents are distruaght the salon have ruined my face and are the most rudest, incompetent and unprofessional service I have ever witnessed. I am so sad that I had to go my own way to visit her then be verbally shouted at and then come home emotionally terrified by what they,ve done to my face and her tone of manner.
