Sarah's Celebration Cakes provide a novelty cake for your child's first birthday or a three tiered masterpiece for your wedding day. All my cakes are handmade using the highest quality ingredients.

About

I became interested in baking from an early age. Making jam tarts with the left over pastry from the apple pie my Mum was making for Sunday lunch. I didn't have an expansive repertoire and for months my family tucked into rock cakes and eccles cakes! Fortunately, and luckily for them I progressed!

My passion for cake decorating began when I was landed the task of decorating my sister's wedding cake! I was young and naive then but apparently I did a good job!

As a result I have now been making celebration cakes for family and friends for many years and it has been with their support and encouragement that Sarah's Celebration Cakes has been launched.

My Services

What ever the occasion there are many people with special diets who are still missing out. If you think having a food intolerance or food allergy means tasteless and uninspiring cakes, think again. Whilst Gluten and Dairy Free cakes are a specialty of Sarah's Celebration Cakes, I am determined to offer the same choices to all my customers. Therefore if another specialty diet is required please inquire and I will do my best to help.

For years I was largely self-taught but now I hold a PME Professional Diploma which led to a Masters Certificate. PME is an internationally recognised qualification in cake decorating. I took this at Cakes4fun in Putney, London. This consisted of three modules: Sugarpaste, Sugar Flowers and Royal Icing.

I am also a member of the British Sugarcraft Guild.
