SDA Architecture Ltd | Award Winning Contemporary Architectural Practice based in Chorley, Lancashire

Like most of our clients we have the challenges and stresses of a normal life, looking after the kids, being home owners, business owners, paying the nursery fees but architecture is our escape. This grounded approach allows us to connect personally with our clients to really understand in depth their unique and bespoke requirements.

We recently asked 10 of our previous clients in one word how would you describe us. The results from them pleased us a lot they describe us as creative, passionate, thoughtful, inspiring, professional, special, dedicated, engaging, positive, talented; the words meant so much to us and provided us great insight to allow us to understand what an impact we and SDA has on our clients lives.

As a small bespoke practice we do not have the capacity to deliver multiple projects week after week so we choose carefully who we work for so that we can deliver our clients the SDA experience that encapsulates the words above. Our passion for architecture and transforming clients lives whether it be private house, a primary school or a hotel the ethos of thinking outside the box to achieve designs that exceed our clients expectations is what we endeavour to achieve consistently.

Kate and I feel passionate about the process of working with SDA and what it to be a unique, thought provoking and an interactive experience for our clients. Architecture is a journey an adventure and we are simply in control of the peddles.

We eat sleep and breath design and I feel this is one of the keys to our success, our interests in sustainable architecture and renewable technologies combined with our expertise in the technology of architecture enables Kate and I to push the boundaries within our work to create buildings of real interest and interior architecture that improves well-being.

Our personal passion is the green belt this where we feel our architectural expertise and design flare is allowed to be released in creating buildings that raise the level of architecture across the UK. With many successful greenbelt planning consents and being one of a very select group of having gained approval for NPPF 55 home we have a real passion and excitement for this area of exceptional architecture and detailed planning.
