Having worked for Security Direct, I'd never recommend anything to do with them, or the "owner" Surj Dhami. The site I was on TUPE over to these. But over the coming couple of years, they were removed from that site. And subsequently, lost several other connected sites. Poor poor service.

Superb Service!
We have been using this company for over 11 years, we order for all our requirements in the UK and UAE. Their service, prices and technical knowledge is better than all the rest of the rest of the online retailers. This company is probably the largest supplier for online branded security products. I have read some of the negative reviews and find them to be untrue and fake......good luck to Security Direct.

My experience was great. I did due diligence before placing an order and found most of the negative reviews seemed to be retributive from 2 sour customers, and where I had found good reviews, they were very recommending and sounded more genuine than the complainers who have clearly tries to slate this company with a view of ruining their reputation. I'm a fair person and I believe in fair genuine feedback. I'll definitely is this company again and would unequivocally recommend what I found to be incredible value and outstanding CS. Well done

AVOID THIS COMPANY
This company are simply a distributor with very limited knowledge of the product they sold us. Website was not up to date and the product was supersceded at extra cost after placing the initial order. The item was sent through another company for delivery without explaining that it would turn up from a completely different supplier. Item was missing a vital part (a battery) that was not mentioned on the article description on the website. The item was installed before it was discovered the battery was missing, buythis.co.uk (security direct GB) refused to cover the cost for the missing part but did suggest we send our engineer back to site to remove and return at our own cost...(they would of course cover the post)... helpful. Sales manager was given part number on several occasions but kept saying the part was not required and refused point blank to supply when he discovered the cost. Will never ever use this company again and will be careful ordering stuff of internet unless from professional suppliers. Lesson learnt.......

This company is absolutely terrible. Their levels of customer service are non - existent and the behaviour of some of the so called Directors should really be looked at by someone more senior. I would recommend you do not buy anything from this company as they cant deliver and then cancel your order without even making you aware. Absolutely shocking business!

Incompetent company haven't got a clue.
One star is too generous!... Avoid at all costs!... This company do not know how their own equipment (Intruder Alarms) operate and therefore when the alarm triggered unexpectedly they spent 45 minutes poking about at the wires with a screwdriver and pressing random control panel buttons, before finally realising they could not turn it off. They then rang somebody up to ask which wires to cut to shut it up!... before promptly pulling a disappearing trick with the unit still in pieces!...

AVOID THESE LOT AT ALL COSTS
avoid this company at all costs! mr Surj Dhami of this company advised me of a camera to buy for my needs, it was £200 + and it turned up needing professional setup and installation, which i bit the bullet and arranged, even though it was sold as a plug n play type, however when the installer fitted it, the lens was way too strong for the distance involved, so after various requests and threats of legal action, he replaced it with a cheaper type and no refund of the difference, however this again needed pro installation and a lot of money to fit, so i requested a refund for the total including postage, to which i was told to go and buy some crap from b&q which is all my knid of person should get! this company in my opinion is a drop shipper type organisation, as both cameras were sent direct from the manufacturer, and i feel that they dont know much about the technology they are trying to sell people, so beware, as the slow deliveries and 1 month + battle for a refund is not worth the hassle of dealing with this type of outfit, they give internet based companies a very bad name
