Shield Security Company History

Shield Security has grown from small beginnings as a manned guarding company to a complete surveillance business now serving hundreds of clients across the north of England.

Established more than 10 years ago, we are committed to delivering the very best in security services, and it is for that reason that our business continues to grow with clients across the north of England.

Expanding through acquisitions in 2007 and 2010, we now employ more than 300 security officers, fully trained to highest industry standards and able to deal with situations of aggression and violence, bomb threat procedures, CCTV codes of practices, restraint methods and carry out personnel and vehicle searches.

We take great care to recruit the region's finest security officers, something we can do by offering an attractive employment package, including a programme of ongoing training and development, to ensure that all officers are kept up to date with current issues and legislations.

Our 24 hour control centre, and rapid response promise, has seen us remain at the forefront of technology, always looking to invest in the future and provide cutting-edge security solutions.
