JB Woodcrafts specilises in traditional pole lathe turning
Pole lathe turning is the traditional craft of green wood working on a foot-operated lathe. This ancient craft is going through a renaissance as people are trying to reconnect with simpler times.
I make wooden bowls using a pole lathe. I also make other unique wooden items using traditional methods. These bowls make an ideal gift as they can't be bought in the high street. I also offer pole lathe training and enjoy sharing my skills of this wonderful craft.
