Site Analytical Services Ltd is accredited to ISO 9002, has in-house facilities for both geographical and chemical testing and carries a claim free professional indemnity insurance policy for both site investigation and laboratory testing services. An analytical work for contaminated land assessment is conducted by UKAS accredited laboratories. All site investigations are managed by our Senior Geotechnical Engineer, Mr Ian Pattinson. Mr Pattinson has over thirty five years experience in site investigation work obtained during employment with Wimpey Laboratories (8 years), Fugro Limited (16 years) and Exploration AssocIates Limited (4 years). He has also carried out work in a senior capacity for Geotechnical Engineering Limited, Geocone Limited and Soil Explorations Limited. Mr Pattinson holds a Masters degree in Engineering Geology and a listed specialist of the British Geological Society.

A typical survey includes testing for minimum cover to reinforcement, depth of carbonation, hammer test, borescope, half-cell potential, resistivity and visual appraisal for surface defects.
