Jun 2011 Steve has set up our various PCs in all the Windows variants; upgraded memories and sorted out operational glitches with calm efficiency and at no time tried to blind us with jargon. Jan 2012 I bought my father-in-law a computer and arranged for him to have broadband internet access. As I live in London and my father in law lives in Bodmin I needed to arrange for someone to help set up the broadband and computer equipment. He had never used a computer before (being 78) so I needed to arrange for someone to help with the installation, software load and security and then show him the basics. This is where Steve came in. I had considered using PC World but wanted someone who lived locally and who would provide the 'personal' touch. On the technical side Steve did everything I asked and more! The thing I appreciated most though was the time he spent with my father in law helping him through the basics. He thinks Steve is wonderful and kept commenting on how patient and helpful he was and that he is a really 'good lad'. I have arranged for Steve to be available if he needs help and also for some more tuition sessions. It has worked out really well and I'm so grateful! to Steve for making this transition into the internet age go so smoothly. It has made such a big difference to my father in law to have a computer but it really wouldn't have been possible without Steve's help.
