Smart Life Solutions provides personalised, one-to-one tuition in personal computers (Mac and PC), tablets and smart phones for adult beginners and anyone who wants to improve their skills. We mainly focus on Apple technologies such as Mac, iPad, iPhone but we also provide tuition for PC and Android phones and tablets.
In addition we provide packaged solutions, e.g. Skype for the Elderly, a Smart Home Implementation Service, Smart TV Set Up Service and Television Installation and Tuning Service.
Once you have solved you immediate technical challenge we will continue to be there providing you IT Support and Services to help when things go wrong and Technical Advice for those who need help choosing the right technology to solve a specific challenge.
Graham, the owner of the business, has over 30 years experience in the computer industry including software development, technical support, sales and consultancy. He has extensive knowledge of computer technologies, operating systems and commonly used software applications. In particular he focusses on Apple devices including Macs (desktop and laptop), iPads, iPhones, Apple TV, Apple Watch, Airport networking and HomeKit. He also maintains a working knowledge of PCs for setting up networking and printers specifically. He is fluent in Microsoft Office applications on most platforms including Windows, macOS and iOS.
The inspiration for the business was provided by Graham's mother who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. He supports her with smart home technology to help maintain her independence for as long as possible.
Graham also regularly volunteers with the Stroke Association providing communication support to stroke survivors of all ages.
