Excellent, very comfortable, genial host, cooking first class
The service at Smithys was very friendly and accommodating, the host (Derek) is pleasant, engaging, helpful and kind, and always has time for guests, he also has had an interesting life and has a fund of fascinating stories if you want to listen to them, as well as a sound knowledge of local history; his cooking is good and the portions are ample; the room and bed were as clean and comfortable as could be; Leyland town centre is well within walking distance, however there are also buses to there and Preston every 10 mins or so; having a telly with a largish screen in my room was for me a special bonus.

best guest house
This guest house is superb the rooms are stunning and very comfortable serviced daily to a very high standard.stayed here for three nights and the owner derrick and his wife and family are so nice very welcoming and make you feel at home.the breakfast is fabulous with a full english being the best I have ever had.overall this guest house is immaculate and very welcoming and would reccomend to anyone.
