AirCon fail. Mark added 999 miles to car from advert. Uses eBay to claim not a trader.

Bought a Honda Civic from Mark Douglas eBay classified ad sellerID holidaymakermarky0118 with 100% feedback. 3 months in air conditioning has failed otherwise as I serviced the car its good. Car was advertised 97,000 miles, inspected 97,283 miles and on sale date 97,999 so he added nearly a thousand miles to the car (told he needed the car for a funeral before I could collect it as he wasn't taking the Bentley he was also selling from the Southern Trade Sales address). On day of collection I asked if he's a trader he said its my private car so its a private sale. Asked whose name is on logbook and said its not his! So he confirmed it was a trade sale as that's something only traders can do plus he left trade plates in the boot. His wife came out when checking the car and said she would have told me to pxx off and that I must have aspergers as I checked the car thoroughly. Nearly walked but I had traveled from Birmingham twice so wasn't going to walk away as had no transport. Avoid!
