We always have a takeaway but decided to treat ourselves and go out for a change. Very polite staff. The surroundings were weird as it's an old barn. The bar area felt very cold and uninviting. Not very Indian in decor. Food was very good and fresh ingredients used. They need to re think their theme. No hot towels which would be a nice touch. Would go again. They need to get an interior designer in and really market their restaurant.

Very nice food and friendly staff not salty at all and it only took 20mins for the food I think Tim wild must have had a curry potnoodle and some salted nuts before he had his meal excellent will recommend this you'll love it there

When we arrived it seemed a bit empty and a bit of a odd atmosphere, but we sat down with high hopes of a good meal. It took a while to get asked for poppadums' and when they came they were 6 short, when asked for the missing poppadums' we were told they don't miss count and this couldn't be the case. Made us feel like they accused us of lying. Finally they took our order for starters. they were OK. but took a while. Eventually our mains arrived 1hour and 45mins after sitting down. My curry had so much salt in it but I eat anyway, I just wanted to get out of there. Others on the table commented on bad curry's some said there's were OK but equally just wanted to leave. No hot towels at the end. Worst curry I have eaten out.

29-9-12 7.15pm Took my 13yr old son for his first Curry in house.! Me & my son Ben have just been to bollywood spice ( Curry House ) Bristol which is now called (Spice Lounge) & @ Barrs Court old Pub ! Only 6 people eating ...so not busy & we waited 15 mins for drinks then 10 mins for poppadoms..given no plates . We waited another 30 mins then I asked how long would our main food be (10 mins)he said then waited another 25mins for two Chicken Tikka Masalas. When I went to pay I complained how bad things had been & the manager said sharply (WHAT DO YOU EXPECT me to do)....I'm glad Ben my Son was there.!!!! He said I will give you 10% off & that's it .... I said others are complaining & are not happy ... Manager replied (they can wait ) as they haven't booked.! I was just speechless for the first time in my life.! All the best if your going .....
