Beyond the pale
Sam let me down badly by cancelling just hours before a crucially-timed spray tan. Worse, she simply informed me via a casual text, even though she knew it was for an important occasion (how could she even be sure I'd read it in time?) When I called to calmly point out that I was disappointed she hadn't at least had the courtesy to speak to me in person, she very abruptly and rudely said she wasn't interested in what I had to say and slammed the phone down immediately! UN-BE-LIEV-ABLE!!!
