the springhill
after i went to the nevill arms i decided to go to their "sister" pub the springhill, same menu, same specials and although a very different looking building you could tell they were the same!there is a open kitchen when you walk through the front door with a restaurant to the left.anyway i am gobsmacked, the food was fantastic i had a "large ham hock" and it was large, wife had fresh sea bream, son had kid's steak(flame grilled)kids fish and chips and kids cumberland sausage and mash.same wine list but the beers were different(three guests to choose from) and usual array of lager and cider.exceptional service, fresh vegetableswow!!!this one is nearer to home so i will definatly be back
