Had to take legal action against SSR Roofing Ayrshire

Mr Masson t/a SSR Roofing Ayrshire unsuccessfully attempted a repair to my 83 year old fathers roof, which he charged £2000 for . The roof continues to leak and he informed us that he now knew what the problem was but refused to carry out the effective repair unless we gave him another £1750. The 'extra' work involved the replacement of a small section of flashing. It should be pointed out that after providing the quote he got the offer to use the next door neighbours old slates, which he used but of course he didn't alter the quote, even given the vastly reduced parts cost, so the flashing would make it still below cost of the original quote. We were forced to take legal action to have him either repair the roof effectively or provide a full refund and won the case so there is now a decree for payment against Mr Masson. He hasn't communicated with us or the court so I am now left with no option but to pursue enforcement of the court order. Buyer beware he is to be avoided.
