About

Stanbrook Abbey is a unique Venue in every way. After years as a closed order convent, this architectural masterpiece is now open following an extensive and sympathetic refurbishment. It is a Venue like no other. The site of Stanbrook Abbey was purchased in 1835 by a community of Benedictine nuns who commissioned extensive building works and called the Abbey their home for over 170 years. The former convent is constructed of red brick and the interiors are breathtaking, including the Callow Great Hall with its beautiful vaulted ceiling and mesmerizing stained glass windows. Wake up to a quintessentially English experience, surrounded by the lush greenery of the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills. Such inspirational scenery can be admired from the top of the Tower, followed by an afternoon tea in the light and airy Piano Bar. By night, sit down to a sumptuous banquet in the Dining Hall before settling into the leather armchairs of the Library Bar.
