Simply The Best!
I have been eating at 'the Star' for about 15 years now and it still knocks the socks off any other curry house in Northampton and I've been to most. You pay above average compared to other curry restaurants, but it is worth it. Their Chicken Tikka Dansak is the best! Always great service too. Never been let down.

Its gone down?
Have been impressed with this place in the past, but recently things were not so good. Service poor, mistakes on bill & food only average. maybe I just got unlucky.

i have been eating at the Star of India for a number of years and the quality of the food, service and surroundings have always been excellent. this is one of the few restaurants where i can honestly say i have never had a bad meal (or even an average one) - highly recommended.

A change from the Roast!
Visited 1.03.09 for Sunday Buffet. Fantastic value and delicious food! Came away feeling pleasantly full - will definately go back. Hgh chair really useful for one year old boy! Friendly staff.
