I have learnt more after 3 months tuition with Stephanie than I did after 5 years at school! Stephanie makes every lesson interesting, fun and informative. I highly recommend Stephanie to anyone looking to kick-start their French. As a beginner, I have started French lessons before with other teachers only to quickly loose interest and stop. With Stephanie this is not the case. After 2 months of intensive lessons my progress has been rapid and real. Stephanie's teaching method is engaging and she uses topics and hobbies that interest you to make lessons more fun and rewarding. Not only has my knowledge of French language improved, but I've also received a valuable crash-course in French culture and history. While textbook based, Stephanie has the confidence and experience to use other methods such as games and questionnaires when she feels it more productive than blindly following the textbook. Stephanie strikes a balance between encouraging and pushing me and uses minimal English during our lesson time. She has provided me with a great foundation where I now feel my future progress rests as much with me and in the work I am prepared to do outside the classroom - a point to which I had aspired and thought would take much, much longer to reach.
