About Us

Steve’s (Tyred ‘n Exhausted) Ltd was started in March 1996, when Steve and Barbara bought the site from the liquidators of Central Tyres.

Steve had worked on the site from the age of 16 and, with all this knowledge of the tyre trade and Barbara having a good financial background, they thought it was a good idea to try to build the business back up to its former glory.

Steve’s has gone from strength to strength and, as old and new customers requested had more and more services, we soon outgrew Wright Street. The addition of the Southbank Road site was necessary for an MOT station and the mechanical work and the Virginia Street site was added as a Motor Factors as we learned, from our trade customers, that they were dissatisfied with the multi national suppliers in the area.

At Steve’s we aim to provide a friendly, honest and efficient service to all our customers whatever they need. Our FREE services include checks for tyre pressures, levels, noises and fault finding, and quotes and advise.
