We had our 12 panels installed at the beginning of August, on our flat roof, in our very attractive solar tubs, which were Matts alternative solution to having ugly metal framing systems, which I really objected to. We had about 10 quotes for solar panels, all of them checked by the solar experts at BRE, where my husband works. The panels we chose were not the cheapest but after a lot of research we thought they were the best. Matt definitely knew his stuff and could answer all of our technical questions, and there was alot as my husband is an electrician, I am a surveyor and my Dad is an electrical generation engineer, so he had his work cut out. Once we had paid our deposit the work commenced quickly and completed in 2 days, the boys on site were polite and Matt was around both days to supervise. The wireless device showing our daily outputs has taken center place in our living room and the whole family checks it regularly to see how much money we are saving. Really pleased with whole service

I had my system installed in February and initially was very disappointed with their performance. Having said this now that the weather has improved I am very happy with their output. What I had not realised was that their output is not linear and that their are months when they generate much less energy than they do in the summer months. This is not a fault of the sales team I did have all of the literature but had failed to pick up on this point. The whole sales process was handled extremely well with all of my queries and concerns being dealt with in a caring and professional manner. The same can also be said for the installation team and I would recommend anyone looking to take advantage of the government feed in tariff to look no further than Explore Solar.

Matt was particularly good at explaining the technology and providing comparative information about different panels so I was able to make an informed choice. He also answered all my questions about the way the panels would be installed. The installation was done efficiently in 7 hours excluding scaffolding and the electricians were able to hide the wires inside the house. Matt supervised the work and consulted me promptly and honestly about some minor issues that arose so we were able to agree a solution that satisfied me. The system is working well and I am very pleased with the work

Recommended Solar Energy
Having taken the decision to install a photovoltaic system on my garage roof, I approached four supplier / installers. Dr Patel or Explore Solar phoned immediately, came to see me within 24 hours, gave me a detailed explanation as to how the system worked, and an approximate cost of an installation (depending upon the capacity of the solar panels) together with an idea of the likely value of returns in electricity saving, and under the FIT Scheme. He surveyed the site, and I had a quotation within 48 hours. It took me a couple of weeks to get to the same point with the other three firms I had invited to quote, and it became apparent that Explore Solar's quote was the most competitive. Installation and commissioning of the 4kWh system was completed in a workmanlike manner in a day (despite a heavy fall of snow!). I was given every help with my application to join the FIT Scheme, and a small problem which occurred subsequently was dealt with very promptly. I have found my whole experience dealing with Explore Solar extremely satisfying, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone contemplating installing a photovoltaic array.â€

Solar Energy
Explore solar, were reliable and I am very pleased with the manner in which they carried out the work. They were polite and courteous at all times and nothing was to much trouble for them. There level of service and knowledge was exceptional. I would have no trouble in recommending this company to anyone who wants to have solar power installed.
